This course is an in-depth training course in the art of Thai yoga massage to practitioner level and an opportunity to start a new and rewarding career. It is suitable for:
beginners wishing to learn how to work with the body and discover new and deeper ways of relating, touching and being
individuals who wish to help family members or friends who suffer from physical ailments and stress
yoga teachers, physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists, dancers and other therapists who want to broaden their skills and deepen their existing practice.
Over a period of 6 months you will:

The course consists of 12 lessons spread over 6 weekends. By the end of the training students will be able to give a complete 2-2½ hour traditional Thai yoga massage to practitioner level and to treat a variety of specific ailments. The lessons will cover history and theory of this work. The main part will be practical hands-on training with easy to follow demonstrations and students both giving and receiving Thai yoga massage sequences. After successful completion of the final practical examination students will be accepted onto the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Practitioners Register and can get accredited with Ctha/Embody and fully insured. For this, participants will also need to hold a recognized certificate in 55 hours of Anatomy and Physiology (to be taken as a separate course). Between the end of the course and the examination day students will need to do 30 documented case studies.
