Embodied Trauma Healing Retreat in Wales

A seminar on working with trauma, using touch and dialogue.

This retreat is for bodyworkers/ massage therapists, coaches, psychotherapists, yoga teachers and all others who want to enhance their understanding of and develop essential skills in working with trauma.  It will also be a profound and healing personal experience in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

This highly practical seminar will explore the effects of both shock and developmental trauma on ourselves and the people we work with and teach you powerful skills to facilitate positive shifts on a somatic and emotional level.  For bodyworkers especially, developing an understanding of the root causes of tension and collapse in the body as well as learning to include psychological and emotional work will make an enormous difference in your practice.

The course will include presentations on trauma healing, a variety of awareness and movement exercises as well as partner and group processes. Our main focus will be on developing therapeutic skills to use touch and dialogue in the process of trauma healing.
